Small Group Studies

• “God’s Answers to Life’s Difficult Questions” is a seven-week video study by Rick Warren, facilitated by Max, which will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in our parlor, beginning on May 3 and ending June 14. Everyone wants to change for the better. This study provides practical wisdom that will make a real difference if you apply it. The Bible is filled with examples of real people who faced the same questions you face. From their stories, you will gain concrete, easy-to-understand insights you can put to work immediately in your own life. This study will give you keys to a better life. Change may not come overnight, but with patience and prayer, you will see a difference. For May 10: “How Can I Rebound From Failure?” Won’t you join us?

• “Discovering Matthew” is the first in a series of five Bible studies, which will eventually cover the four gospels and the book of Acts, concentrating on the life of Jesus and his apostles. It is an eight-week study encompassing puzzles, questions and exercises to help you learn more about Matthew. We will meet on Wednesday’s at noon in the Asbury parlor, beginning May 4 and ending June 29. It is anticipated that this study will be repeated during September and October on Tuesday evenings. On May 11 there will be no class due to the AAAA trip to Camden and Sylvan Beach. The next session, May 18, will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and cover chapters 5, 6 and 7 of Matthew.
